How to Use Your Pinpoint Strap

1) Find your spot: Locate the tendon just below your kneecap — the point where the ache concentrates when you climb stairs or stand up.

2) Center the pad: Place the strap directly over that point, not above or below it. This is the one spot that matters.

3) Wrap and secure: Bring the band around the back of your knee and close the velcro.

4) Tighten to fit: Adjust the elastic until it's snug — firm enough to hold, not so tight it restricts movement.

5) Test before you go: Bend your knee a few times. If the pad shifts off the spot, re-center and re-tighten before heading out.

Materials & Quality

Made from medical-grade silicone. This material holds its shape and cushioning much longer than other materials like TPE or EVA, so it won't wear out fast.

The pad has a butterfly shape with double-layer cushioning. It's designed to fit the curve of your knee and stay soft against your skin, without making you sweat.

The straps are made from a soft felt material with premium velcro. Both sides adjust, so you get a snug fit no matter your leg size.

A Seatbelt That's Not Buckled Right Won't Save You

It holds great ... for about a week. Then it slips. Then it falls. And you're back where you started, wondering if your knee will ever let you walk down stairs without wincing again. That's what most knee straps do. They hold for a bit, then move, then stop working completely.

Ours doesn't. It's built to press on the one exact spot below your kneecap where all the pain comes from, and stay there. Not your whole knee. Not somewhere close. That one spot, the whole day. That's why it works when the others didn't.

Your Old Strap's Problems, Solved

You've probably owned one of these before. It worked fine for a week, then let you down in one of four annoying ways. Here's what we fixed:

Very comfortable, I forget I’m wearing knee braces

After 4 knee locations and a ligament replacement, I’ve had my fair share of experience with knee braces. Traditional knee braces are hot and causes my thigh to muffin top.

These have a thin profile and less visible underneath pants. These fit right below the kneecap with adjustable Velcro strap and stays in place with the silicone support. These help me feel more supported during my karate classes and I have less pain on long walks.

    Brilliant Device

I don't normally comment on products, but this thing is sensational. I tore my right knee meniscus several years ago and had an operation to remove most of it about 3 years ago. I've tried a variety of knee braces, all of which offer a bit of relief and support, but they are not pleasant to wear for a whole day.

So I tried the GOUNOD tendon support. I've had it a week and the difference is remkarkable. I can walk properly again, and I'm pain-free in the knee. Why don't medical professionals tell you about these things, I wonder?

    GREAT Support, good price!

I have used Kinesiology tape in the past with good results, however I developed a sensitivity to the adhesive. Then tried, C__perfit brace with marginal support!

When I first saw this product I was a little skeptical, but figured i Had nothing to lose! So I did try it and was amazed how well it worked. I had a bowling partner with similar knee issues. I gave one to her and she also had successful results!

Great SUPPORT and reasonably priced! Highly recommend!!!

Support Where It Truly Counts

Most knee braces work like a sprinkler — soaking the whole lawn and hoping some of it lands right. The Krovium Pinpoint Strap works like a hose nozzle: all that pressure aimed at one exact point, the patellar tendon below your kneecap, where the real strain hits every time you climb stairs, stand up, or head downhill.

Wrap the whole knee and support gets spread too thin to matter. Concentrate it on the one spot under load, and you get real relief — not just more fabric.

Every "Yeah, but..." — Answered.

Will the strap actually stay in place and not slide down?

Most straps fail because they're built to wrap a joint, not hold a point. The Krovium Pinpoint Strap is shaped and secured to sit on one exact spot the patellar tendon below your kneecap — and stay there through stairs, standing up, and walking downhill. If it moves off that spot, you're covered by our guarantee below.

I tried a knee sleeve and it didn't help. How is something smaller any better?

A sleeve spreads support across your whole knee, which means it's spread too thin to do much anywhere. Our strap does the opposite — it puts all that pressure on the one point that's actually under load. Less coverage, more relief.

Will it fit my leg? I've got a bigger/smaller/oddly shaped leg for most braces.

Legs come in every shape, and most straps are built for an "average" one that doesn't exist. Our strap's adjustable velcro band is built to fit a real range of legs. And if yours still isn't one of them, keep it — you're covered either way.

My knee pain feels like arthritis / bone-on-bone. Will this help me?

This is built for pain caused by strain at the patellar tendon — the ache you feel on stairs, standing up, or heading downhill. If your pain is joint-wide or diagnosed as arthritis, this may not be the right fit, and we'd rather tell you that now than have you disappointed later.

Shouldn't I just do physical therapy instead?

PT works, and we're not here to talk you out of it. Our strap isn't a replacement — it's something you can wear between sessions, during activity, or on days you can't get to an appointment, so you're not starting from zero every time.

Can I wear this under jeans or work trousers, or will everyone know?

Yes. It sits flat and low-profile enough to wear under pants, leggings, or shorts. Most people wear theirs to the garden, the store, or the trail, and nobody clocks it.

Will it cause excessive sweat or skin irritation?

No — the strap is built with this in mind. It's made from silicone with anti-slip, sweat-wicking grooves designed into the pad itself, so moisture doesn't build up underneath it the way it can with neoprene sleeves. The section that actually touches your skin is a soft, skin-friendly cushioned pad, not a rough strap edge, and the fastening strap is soft felt rather than raw velcro backing — which is usually what causes the scratching and irritation people complain about with cheaper straps. It's designed to be worn for a full day of activity without you needing to think about it.

Is this a real medical device, or just a gimmick?

It's a mechanical support built on the same principle used in clinically studied patellar straps — pressure applied at the tendon to reduce strain. It's not a prescription device, and we're not claiming it is. It's a tool that does one job well.

What if it doesn't fit or work for me? Do I have to pay to ship it back?

No. You have 60 days to try it. If it's not right for your leg, keep it — we'll still refund you. We'd rather you test it with zero risk than take our word for it.
